Behind the Music
It all started at age four. Every day, my father played the organ at home. Sometimes I sat next to him and pressed a few keys. He taught me "Silent Night" — and from then on, I had to play it every Christmas for the whole family.
At some point, I hated it. So I stopped. Completely. No instrument, no music.
But that feeling — that energy that rushed through me every time I saw someone play the piano — it never went away. It was like a wave pulling me toward every instrument, saying: "Start playing now."
"At 35, I had forgotten how to play any instrument. But the feeling was still there."
So I taught myself piano. Piece by piece. And over time, the desire to create something of my own grew. Not just playing — but creating. Music that triggers something. That makes you smile. That makes you feel something real.
Today, JOKAI has over 35 million streams. My music plays in over 500 stores worldwide — including McDonald's and Taco Bell. I produce EDM, house, and pop from Vienna, and every track tells a piece of my story.
JOKAI is not a comeback. It's proof that it's never too late to follow your feeling.
